The Hobbit: Lego

Just watch the movie: The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey. It is a little late but it is always late than never. J.R.R Tolkien never disappointed me. The story line was great and that make me wanted to collect the hero minifigures from the Hobbit Lego.

There are 15 main characters which I am looking for and they can be found in the following sets:

Mindstorms EV3 unveiled

10250: Year Of The Snake

This coming year (2013) is the Snake according to the Chinese Zodiac Signs of the 12 animals. Lego Creator is coming with 10250 Year of The Snake set. (source from Brickset)

10232 Palace Cinema

2013 new modular set will be a Cinema. grogall from brickset has uncovered this picture of this modular building, Palace Cinema. The image has come from shop.LEGO.com, as you can see, but it's not for sale there yet and there's no word on official release date or prices. It is the third corner modular after Cafe Corner and the Grand Emporium.

My Lego Train Station Version 3

After build of version 1.0 and 2.0, the train station version 3.0 is really. It come with nice decoration and interiors which are lacking in the first and second versions.

Version 3.0 - changes with the front window panels, blueish-grey to tan brick replacement and build interior (See below)

Version 1.0

There isn't any details for the interiors in version 1.0 and 2.0. However, they come in version 3.0 (See below). In this version 3.0, there is a mini cafe in the station, a control rooms and the passengers seats.


This is the back view of version 3.0. As you can see, there are four rooms.

Room 1: the mini cafe. IT come with the drinks and a telephone booth.

Room2: the control station room 1, where there are monitoring panel to track train and  every corner of the train station.

Room 3: this is the control station room 2, where the operator can help the passengers.

Room 4: This is the passengers waiting area. There are a few seats for them to rest while waiting for their train.

Star Wars Planet Series 2: AT-ST & Endor 9679

Finally, have time to fix this Star Wars bought from the year end sales. This is from the Star wars Planet Series 2. It has a Forrest Moon of Endor, come with a AT-ST driver. This is a better set other than the x-wing in the Planet Series 2.

Open box and inside found the instruction manual, the globe which is the moon and the bricks for the AT-ST and the driver

Of course, like other planet series, it come with a printed plate which look pretty cool and professional.

Dat LA!! The complete set. The AT-ST is pretty touchy. Thus it is good for display and not very playable.

My Lego holiday train

Modified the 40034 Holiday Train to fix in the winter season festive. Started with the original train fix (see below) and slowly add in another carriage as shown.

Lego minifigure series 9

All we have been waiting.... Lego minifigure series 9 is out. WhiteFang has done a good review on this series. You can view his review here. Following pictures are some of the pictures exacted from Whitefang.

I am pretty disappointed that this series 9 come with 2 complete sets of 16 minifigures per box. However, some consolation is that we can form army for the policemen and the Heroic knights.
