The Grand Opening of Singapore's latest LCS is happening this weekend (27th - 28th June 2015) and it is confirmed that we will be getting the new LEGO Brand Store set as the giveaway! Spend $120 or more on any LEGO products and you will stand a chance to win 1 of 100 sets.

Singapore 3rd Lego certified store will be open in Ngee Ann City today. The PAB will be really only at the end of this month where there will be an official launch then.

LUGSing Extravaganza 2014

LEGO User Group Singapore (aka LUGSING) will be organizing an event from December 607 2014. Yes, start tomorrow and its a two days event. This year it's special as it include an exhibition pieces from the Singapore AFOLs (Adult Fan Of LEGO) to celebrate the hobby of LEGO. The events venue is as followed:

Lego certified store in Singapore

Singapore has its first certified lego store. It will be opening on 29 nov 2014.  Lego Certified Store offers these distinctive features:

• Singapore’s first unique PICK-A-BRICK wall, where LEGO fans will be able to hand pick and purchase specific LEGO bricks and elements in a variety of colours and shapes in bulk to build a LEGO model of your own choice and imagination
• “The Living Room”, an interactive play area that’s prominently positioned in the centre of the store, allowing you to get “hands-on, minds-on” with LEGO products
• Numerous fully assembled LEGO models will be on display around the store in a “Brand Ribbon” to inspire you as you shop
• Exclusive LEGO model sets(from January 2015) released at the same time in the US and Europe will only be available at the LCS at Suntec City

New lego magazine launched in UK for serious Lego Fans. The magazine known as Blocks has its first issues launched after their trial copy. It's really for subscription for the rest of the world other than UK.

The edition of The Little Red Brick Show aims to be the premier fan driven event at Safra Toa Payoh , atrium from 4-5 oct 2014.

Lego Fan Weekend 2014

The LEGO® Fan Weekend (LFW) is organized by The LEGO Group’s Community Engagement and Events Team in cooperation with AFOLs and supported by Skærbæk Kursus- og Fritidscenter.

 

The purpose of the event is to provide a space for AFOLs from all over the world to meet, network and share their passion. At the same time it is also an exhibition where the participants can share their MOCs with each other and the public audience.

 

The event is located in Skærbæk Kursus- Fritidscenter in the town of Skærbæk, Southern Jutland, situated on the west coast of Denmark. Approximately 2½ hours drive north of Hamburg, 1½ hours drive south west of Billund and 4 hours drive west of Copenhagen.

 

In 2014 around 350 AFOLs from more than 20 countries are expected to participate in the event and to show their creations made from LEGO bricks to over 2000 public visitors during Saturday and Sunday.
